Welcome to The Pre-Doctorate Journal of Development Economics (PJDE). The PJDE aims to be the premier refereed development economics journal featuring the academic work of undergraduates, masters students, and PhD students. Higher education as we know it makes students jump through many hurdles before publication. The PJDE provides a venue for students* to present constructive arguments and opinions, while their creativity and idealism is still intact. Both on-line and in-print, our first issue will be released to the public in September 2003. In the meantime, papers submitted for publication will be posted on-line for your reading pleasure. Important Information Submission Deadlines are as follows:
The best paper will be rewarded with a 100 dollar donation to the Non-Government Organization of their choice. We hope that you will find this a valuable and thought-provoking service. To submit a paper, please click here. *Although this journal is currently publishing articles from students, all relevant papers can still be submitted through the PJDE. *If you are a full-time economics/development professor and would like to join our panel of referees from top-rated universities in the US and Great Britain, please email us here. |
