ForeignAID Ratings administers YouthWorx 2004 IT-training program for disdvantaged youth in Nairobi, Kenya in partnership with the University of Nairobi


ForeignAID Ratings administered the 2004 YouthWorx program, which trained high-potential children of single parents and disadvantaged youth in computer hardware, software and networking.

Team Awarded $1 Million For Efforts To Bridge The Digital Divide With Computing Infrastructure In Ghana

ForeignAID Ratings LLC team members, while at the University of Pennsylvania, received a grant of Hewlett-Packard equipment and services totaling $1.12 million to lay the foundation for a high-speed information and communication infrastructure in the West African nation of Ghana.

Team members developed computing infrastructure at Ghana's Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and at community technology centers (CTC's) in Kumasi, Ghana's second-largest city, and in the country's Eastern Region.

ForeignAID Ratings LLC team members, while at the University of Pennsylvania, led the “Formando Un Puente”—Building a Bridge—Delegation to build Ecuador’s first internet-connected computer lab in a public elementary school. Built in partnership with 3Com and SatNet, the computer lab put a smile on the faces of students at Escuela Fiscal Zoila Ugarte de Landivar and has added a new facet to the education at the school.
