covers the following topics among others based on the Log Frame
methodology: questionnaire development, choosing baseline indicators,
needs assessment, the science of Log Frame, data collection in an
impartial and comprehensive way, data analysis, and data presentation. The
training program is enhanced by our experiences from the field, including
our ratings work for USAID in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Angola, and
Zambia. The science of Log Frame is combined with our field experience
anecdotes and disclosure of our confidential and illustrative rating
reports, to create one of the best M&E educational experiences on the
market. Q: Do you cover the role of computers/software in this process? A: Yes. The training covers the basics regarding computer/software and technology use for data collection and analysis. Upon request, the training can also cover advanced topics regarding data analysis in MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS, EViews, and other software tools. Also, special topics like the use of PDAs to collect data in the field can be discussed.
